- FairMatch (2024-2027)
The goal of this three-year Industrial Postdoc project is to develop fair AI matching algorithms, thereby helping both candidates that have trouble finding jobs and companies that have trouble finding candidates. The project is funded by Innovationsfonden and is a collaboration with Jobindex and DIKU. I am involved as a co-PI and Mesut Kaya is part of the ITU team as the industrial postdoctoral researcher. - JobMatch (2020-2023)
The goal of this three-year project was to deliver personalized and relevant job recommendations to job seekers by matching their CVs with open job postings. The project was funded by Innovationsfonden and was a collaboration with Jobindex and DIKU. I was involved as a co-PI and Mesut Kaya was part of the AAU team as postdoctoral researcher. The project website can be found here. - STAR job recommendation (2017-2020)
This three-year project was aimed at generating automatic job recommendations based on data about the Danish labor market in the period 2008-2016. I was brought in as an additional consultant in the last year of the project. The project was funded by the Danish Agency for Labour Market and Recruitment. - PBL for video lectures (2017-2018)
The goal of this AAU-internal project was to examine the benefits of using online video lectures for flipped-classroom teaching in a problem-based learning environment, specifically within our Information Studies degree. I was involved as the PI. The project was funded through internal university funding. - PROMISE (2010-2013)
The PROMISE project was aimed at providing a virtual laboratory for advancing and automating the evaluation and benchmarking of complex information systems, by facilitating management and offering access, curation, preservation, re-use, analysis, visualization, and mining of the collected experimental data. I was involved as a researcher during my time at the Royal School of Library & Information Science. The project was funded by the EU as part of the FP7 program.
